I am finally trying to catch up with our Blog! The end of May, Jeremy's parents joined Jeremy, Cade and I on our family vacation. We went to California. It was a week full of fun! We went to Disneyland three days California Disney two days, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and cant leave out the beach! Visiting Cali, the beach is a Must! :)

The night before we left at around 2:30am Jeremy and I found out some wonderful news! I was pregnant! I for some reason I had a feeling I might be preggers! Yes, the Mothers intuition! so I decided to take a pregnancy test! ha ha well I ended up taking four tests and they were all positive! We couldn't believe it. Yes we were trying but we didn't think we would be blessed with a baby so soon! Jer and I decided to tell his parents Kevin and Marcia at dinner our first night in Cali. They would have probably questioned why I wasn't riding all the rides. They were so excited! I'm so glad Jeremy and I were able to share this family trip with his parents! My in-laws are amazing people with the biggest hearts! Cade loves his Grandpa and Grandma and the trip wouldn't have been the same without them!
I took so many picture but I decided not to even post half! Lets just say Cade got his picture with pretty much all the characters at all the parks! And a lot more!

...Family Trip to St. George...

Jeremy and I have such crazy schedules and are always so busy, we decided to take a quick family vacation! Luckily Jer and I have a time share so it is easy to make a quick decision a couple weeks before and then take off for a couple days! We went to a nice resort in St. George Jan. 30th -Feb1st!
For some crazy reason I picked St. George thinking it would be hot and sunny outside. (Laying out weather) But I was definitely wrong! It was nice out but still jacket weather. The resort had a nice big pool, luckily it was heated! :) And not to mention a hot tub half the size of the pool! :)

Cade was such a good boy the whole ride there and back! He watched movies the whole time on his new DVD player! He loves that thing! He begs me to let him use it on the way to pre-school in the mornings! ha ha

A burger joint with bad fries kinda ruins the place in my eyes! ha ha Apollo burger... Now that's a good place! Who knows maybe ill give it another try! ha ha

It's little moments like this that makes me feel like the luckiest mommy ever! Cade will never get too old to snuggle with his mommy! OK well maybe! But not for a while! ;)

Cade's Birthday is January 13the! But I have been so busy with school and work I haven't had time to update our family blog! So now Im finally gonna try to catch up! :)

Cade's birthday party this year was on sat. the 16th so Jer and I felt like we had to get cade a gift to hold him over until his party day! Cade had been wanting this G.I. Joe Laptop for a while so we went ahead and got it for him! He loved it!!!

He was so excited he couldn't wait to open it!

I am attending Paul Mitchell and I am so glad I made the jump to choose this as my carrier! It has opened my eyes to so many creative things, such as being in a hair show! Paul Mitchell was a part of the Womens Show a couple weeks ago and they had these amazing hair pieces to put on girls to wear on the runway! I was asked to be in the show and agreed. They needed a girl with long black hair and since my hair is down to my but it worked out perfect! The students in charge took weeks on the hair pieces and I was happy to be apart of the art work thet all put together!

After we did our little fashion show we came out with our stylists!

I forgot to post pictures of the pumpkins Jer and I carved! I can't forget that after the hard work that was put into them! ha ha ;) I have never before seen a pumpkin carver that was like a mini chain saw, but I saw it at the store and made Jer get it for me! Lets just say if you don't have a steady hand it will go all over the place! After me almost cutting myself with it five times Jer finally took it away from me and made me use the reg. carving knife! ha ha My pumpkin is the spider one (The hard one!) and Jeremys is the (Easy) bat one! ;)

This has been such a fun summer so far! We have done so many fun things as a family like, swimming, camping, and BBQ's. We are so greatful we have been able to spend so much time together as a family to grow and make fun memories!

...July 3rd...

July 3rd is my Dads Birthday, he had the family over for a nice BBQ with, might I actually say, too much food!

We didn't plan on letting the kids get in the pool, thats why Cole is in his diaper and Cade is going commando! (Oh well, let boys be boys I guess!) ;)

So my Dad has the bushiest eyebrows EVER! He never trims them cause we all make fun of them. I'm telling you, they were like four inches long, NO joke! Well anyways, he actually asked me if I would like to do the honor of trimming them! We were all so surprised! I took him up on the offer before he changed his mind! They were like cutting through wire! Kinda gross! ha ha

On July 3rd, 2004, Jeremy and I met at the sugarhouse fireworks! Jeremy lost his wedding ring just a few months after our wedding, so he mentioned he should just get it tattooed on so he wouldn't loose it. I didn't know just how serious he was until a couple months ago he brought it up again. Well I thought it was a cute idea, but I wasn't going to make him get a tattoo alone. I wanted to get a tattoo but wasn't sure what to get. He mentioned to get the same thing as him, just on my wrist. Neither of us had ever got a tattoo done before so we decided on the 2nd it would be fun to get it done together. So the next day, on the 3rd, we did! We love them and are glad we got them on a meaningful day!

I was surprised it didn't hurt at all!

Jeremy told Chris "the tattoo artist" he was getting nervous and a little scared! When i heard him say that I started laughing. I didn't think he would be more nervous then me! Chris told Jeremy the finger is one of the most sensitive places to get a tattoo, but thanks to Jeremy having a job that makes him use his hands all the time, they were tough enough to where he didn't feel a thing!

After we got our matching tattoos we took Cade to the grocery store to get some junk food to watch the Eagle Ridge fireworks! Cade thought he was so cool pushing his mini cart! It was adorable!

On Father's Day I was in Florida at my competition, so I ended up missing it. :( I wish so bad I would have been able to spend the day with my hubby but since I wasn't able to, we celebrated it before I left.

Jeremy I want you to know I think you are an amazing father to our son. I see how much our little stinker looks up to you and that is probably why he is such a stinker! ha ha You have so many good qualities as a husband and father, I am so grateful to have you by my side for the rest of my life!!! You have shown me love lately that I know with all my heart is un breakable! Thank you for being everything I love and adore! I love you more than all the sand on the beach! ;)

I just got back from Flordia, from being on a fun but busy trip for the 2009 international swimsuit pageant. I was there one week. some of you may think, wow! what a nice vacation but honestly it was work, work and more work! ha ha I had photoshoots every day, commercial shoots every day, and everywhere we went there was cameras filming us LIVE! I have a hard time doing my make-up sometimes once a day so imagine me having to get mine done two or three times a day from being out in the humid, hot environment! It's not that attractive having mascara and bronzer dripping off your face! ha ha I thought it was a fun experience and I had a good time, but all in all I think my place and comfort is here in Utah with my family! I am greatful I was given the opportunity to go and compete as the representative as Miss Utah, but i'm thinking it was a one time thing! ;)

You may think form some of these pictures that we are so dark from laying out by the pool or beach, but the truth is we got spray tanned to get our dark instant tan! We were told that we had to wait to layout for a tan because they didn't want any of us to have tan lines! The sad thing is our very last day we were all excited to go relax on the beach, and what happens ten min. after laying out!?! It starts pouring rain! :( We were bummed! This silly picture is right after getting our tan on! :)

My sweetie leaves tonight (Sunday) for a whole week in Florida. :( She's gonna have a lot of fun, but it's gonna be super busy at the same time. They've got the girls scheduled for photo shoots and interviews and things a lot of the time while she'll be there. These things are a lot of work, more than I ever thought they would be! So much to prepare; the perfect dress, the right swimsuits and matching accessories, every little detail just right....almost takes the fun right out of it, but at the same time, fun in itself! I know she'll do AWESOME down there, and it'll be quite the experience! Angie, I want to wish you the best, good luck and Cade and I love you so much!!! It's gonna be a long week without you around, you bring so much love and joy in to my life! Don't let that slow you down though, let your hair down and go have a ton of fun, we'll be rootin for ya!!! Yesterday evening my mom, my sister Becca, Caders and I went dress shopping for my evening gown to wear for my pageant next month. After we went back to my moms house to hang out. Cade had a blast playing with his cousin Cole's toys. He was acting so goofy we would not stop laughing!

Ha ha ha ha!

My sister, mom and I were on the couch chatting when Cade said "Hey mom look at me, I'm like a monkey!" ha ha Don't worry I stayed right with him until he got down! :)

He thought he was so cool! And yes that is a real pay phone in the back ground! It was a mothers day gift to my mom years ago! Funny story! ;)

Yesterday Jeremy and I went to the car dealership to get a new battery for my car key, well we ended up with just getting a new car! With the deal that was presented to us we couldn't pass it up! I love, love, love my new car, can't beat the new car smell! ;) Jeremy made sure it had a navigation system in it! I think he is sick of having to stay on the phone with me when i'm trying to get somewhere and go through how to get there step by step! Literally!!! ha ha I know, pretty sad I've lived in salt lake city my whole life and still have no clue how to get around! :( Ha ha

On memorial day, Jer, Cade and I went to the Knolls sand dunes to meet up with Jeremys dad Kevin. We had such a fun time riding in the baja dessert car, sitting in the warm sun and catching up with my star gossip magazines, and sitting around the campfire trying to roast mallows without any roasting sticks! ;) ha ha

No the cat (Jett) wasn't one of my gifts, he just wouldn't get out of the picture! ha ha I got a very chic Betsey Johnson watch, A hot pair of (Seychelles) red sandals, a sexy MAC lip gloss (Rags to Riches), a necklace that says MOM on it, and a Diva sweat suit from (Pink) Victoria Secret, for my surgery. Oh and I can't forget I came home to... Two dozen red roses with a card from Jer and a precious home made card from Cade!

Cade started T ball this year. His team is called the Grasshoppers! He is the youngest on his team but he keeps right up with the other team mates! Ya he gets side tracked, like starts to collect rocks out in the field or decides to tackle another team mate but it just makes the game a little bit more fun and interesting to watch! ha ha

We were gonna choose #4 but the boy in front of him in line chose it. So Jeremy picked for him to be lucky #7! If you look closely you can see the ball flying in the air! He is a pretty dang good hitter!

It is the cutest thing in the world watching him run as fast as he can to the next plate! He is like Speedy Gonzalez!

So Angie had a photo shoot for the International Hooters Comp in Miami and we had a lot of fun with it! The photographer was super nice and open to any ideas. He had picked a place in Magna, a really old brick bar, that was pretty cool. A couple of bikers were more than willing to let her use their bikes for some good photo ops in exchange for a photo or two (we'll see if that exchange takes place)! Then we headed out to the Great Salt Lake and I didn't realize how pretty it could actually be out there. All in all Angie looked great, the scenery looked good and we ended up with some pretty hot pics! Now I'll just have to see how well it's gonna fly that I posted some on here!?!

On thursday May 7th I attended the 2009 Hooters Bikini competition. We had nine pretty girls competing for the crown and the opportunity to go to Maimi Flordia to the internationals competition. I was very greatful to find out at the end of the night that I was crowned queen! I competed against all my co-workers / friends who are all very beautiful girls! I am soooo looking forward to an all paid trip, the Hot weather and laying out on the beach in my spare time! How much of that I'll have, not sure! I'll keep you all informed as to when it will be broadcast on TV, live and how and when to vote for me on the internet or by text! Gotta represent Utah!!! Whoop whoop!

I just want to tell my my gorgeous wife Happy Mothers Day and I hope her day was wonderful! She has amazed me in so many ways these past weeks and I couldn't tell her enough how much that means to me! I say amazed because of everything that I've put her through in the past; my immaturity during pregnancy, AND bringing another girl in to our life, cheating. All the nights my wife sat alone on the stairs, crying to me and me showing nothing back, taking my son around this girl and causing him great pain and confusion, driving our lives down this dead end road with my selfishness on the brain! I have a word for those kinds of people, "scum", and thats exactly what I was! She deserved more than what I was providing and didn't deserve anything that I was taking from her. I could say that I am the luckiest man alive because she has a very big, forgiving heart and she is still willing to open it to me, even having the pain and anger inside of her like she does. For all of that, I can only say what I know, and that would be that I know I've put Angie through a lot of heartache and misery but I'm ready to be the MAN I need to be to show her each and every day how much I am in love with her. Make memories to last a lifetime and have her be as proud as I am to have her support and love for me!!!!!! Angie, I love you and I will always back you and support you in your decisions. Your the woman I can't live without, with a look that weakens the knees and makes you short of breath, but fulfills your every need at the same time! We'll build our family to have a stronger bond than ever before and I can stay focused on what's important in life, because it's never been more clear than now! On Friday January 30th Cade performed for Taylorsville High school's Men's basketball teams half time with the cheerleaders for mini cheer! (GO WARRIORS!!!) Why did I let Cade do it??? Well my niece Tabi is a cheerleader for T-Ville and she needed one more kid for the class or she would get a bad grade. So not only did I help her out, I also thought it would be fun to see all these cute little girls performing and then one boy standing out!!! His friend Trevin from pre-school ended up doing it as well so they had a lot of fun together!

On Tuesday the 27th My sister Becca's adoption was finalized! We had the honor to go to the hearing that concluded the final step of making Jacksen, Sean, Cole Lucas (Yes four names!) a permanent member of our family. Even though he already was in all of our eyes! About the four names... Jer and I picked Jacksen, Her son Skyler picked Cole and Becca my sister named him Sean after our brother! She went with all her favorite peps suggestions! ha ha

The Judge made it a very fun memorable day! He had the kids sit in the jury boxes during the hearing and had the officer take them in the cell where the bad guys stay until they are asked to appear in front of the judge. They thought it was so cool!

So Ever since I lost my baby girl teacup poodle I have felt an empty place in my heart! I would get on KSL every night and look at little pups. But I just didn't feel ready for another little one running around taking her place. Well I got a call form the breeders we go through and he told me about this little guy! Something just felt right about getting him! Sooo I started posting little notes to Jer my hub around the house like...Valentines is coming up!!! I put all the info about the dog and pictures of him! He kept saying No No No!!! But then he realized that I really Never ask for anything for myself and he has done a lot of fun things on his own this fall and winter season, unlike me! So on Monday night I had a class and while I was there he went and got me my pup!

Cade had his three year check up! The Doctor said he is very healthy and has a very fun, strong personality! Cade had to get his flu shot and the nurse did a great job! Cade didn't even cry he looked at the nurse and said "ouch why you hurting me?" ha ha Don't worry we explained why she had to do it so now he doesn't think she's a meano anymore!

Cade's height is 36 3/4 and his weight is 33lbs. 4 oz

On Tuesday the 13th it was my baby's Birthday! Cade gets embarrassed when I call him my baby, He tells me "Mom I'm not your baby I'm your Big Boy!" It is so cute he says that but it makes me realize just how fast he is growing up and that makes me sad! :( This year is Cade's official 1st year of Pre-school and I couldn't ask for better teachers than my mom Linda and my sister Becca! So if any of you are looking for an amazing Pre-school/Day care! It is called World of Wonder Day school. I think there is a waiting list! I am very proud to know that with Cade being the youngest in his class he is right at the top with the knowledge! Cade's favorite things at this stage are... Spider man, Bateman, Thomas the train, Diego, Dora the explorer and SOOO much more! Every night I read Cade at least three bedtime books and we together sing at least two songs. It's hard to sing along with him cause he likes to make his own version up as he goes and if you aren't right on key he says okay start over! ha ha Can you say stinker!!! Cade has 100% got down being potty trained! He has pretty much been going in the big boy potty since he was two and his grandparents bought him a potty watch, witch might I add went off EVERY 15 min.!!! Ahhh!! ha ha but now he doesn't have an accident, unless he for some strange reason does it for attention! Cade Mommy and Daddy love you so so much and can't Waite to see you keep growing into a handsome, smart and loving young man! Love ya :)

My brother in law Landon and his wife Holly just had a little baby boy! He is so beautiful! His name is Stockton Lamar Smith. (I hope I spelled it right.) He has his daddy's nose and his mommy's eyes and mouth! I am so happy and excited for them! Being a parent is the best thing in the world to experience and be blessed with! I love Christmas Time! Decorating the tree, handing out neighbor gifts, wrapping presents,( Yes I really do love to wrap them!!!), putting up fun festive home decor, and don't forget lots of Shopping!!! ;) One of my favorite things to do for the holidays is shop the morning after Thanksgiving! Honestly it is so much fun to do especially when your shopping for your own kid! I get my big mug of hot joe and I bundle up and just go go go...! I did very well this year I have to admit! I got everything I was shooting for and more! Usually my sisters and our husbands go and we make our stop at Del Taco between stores. But this year I did it all by my self! I was very proud!!! ha ha I also have to add that Cade found where our hiding spot was and said WOW! mommy look what I got! I felt so bad taking it away, but I told him it was for another kid but maybe Santa will bring you this stuff if your a good boy! I kinda used it to my advantage!

Marcia my mother in law and I spent the day together on monday. Lunch, and shopping! We learned a new meaning to shop til you drop! Or should I say drop and then shop! (inside joke with my mom in law!) ha ha ;) Cade ended up getting the poop scared out of him! (Literally) And let me mention he has been potty trained since he was 2 years old! Well we didn't have any clothes to change him in so we went into baby gap and got some cute little undies for him! Then we went into bath and body works and Cade spilt my drink everywhere! I got it all over me and well... Marcia was wet and dirty from an incident that happened before so we went into Aeropostale and ended up getting matching shirts! It was a very tiring day but we got a lot done with all the crazy stuff that went on! ha ha ha

We are two of a kind!

My sister is very particular about what she will let her son's wear. I didn't get the best feeling when she opened the gift about the onesies so after the luncheon started to die down I decided to change him in the fun shirt I made him. I think after she started geting a lot of compliments on it she started to like it more and more! I'm picky as well when it comes to what I will let Cade wear but I absolutely love skulls! So I made him a matching shirt! Oh and isn't the face Cole is pulling so dang cute! :)

All the grand kids in my side of the family! Cade, Sage, Daxton, Tabi, Gentrie, Skyler, Cole and Preston! I think they all have such cute names, and they are the funest bunch of kids around!

This is what we decided to give my nephew for his blessing. I wanted it to be something different than what I knew other people would get him. I got the really cute onesie tie idea from my neighbor Sabrinia! I also made him some matching burp pads but forgot to take a picture of them. The sewing items turned out pretty good with me never sewing a clothing item before! Sabrinia had to come over to my house just to show me how to thread the needle through the sewing machine! Sad I know! ha ha ha That is why you don't flirt throughtout the class of home-ec! ha ha ha

My Dad is the best wood maker ever! He can make anything my creative mind can think of! I know sometimes that drives him crazy, but this is how I make all my fun crafts! Thanks popa! :)

When it rains it pours!

On sep. 7th our baby girl, Gabby (our teacup poodle) passed away. This is our 2nd poodle we have had to bury. I have never felt so empty inside. She was the best pup I have ever had!!! She was just a baby, only eighteen weeks old, and she was potty trained! She had the cutest personality! I've never known a dog to be so caring, funny, humorous and all around loving to everyone in site! She was definitely a mommy's girl! I have honestly never cried this bad for anything! Jer and I get so attached to our pets that they become family! Last time our poodle passed away Jer got me another one to fill the empty space in my heart. But with this Gabby passing away I honestly don't think I'll get another small pup or dog for myself for a long time. I just don't think another pup will be able to compare to her! It scares me how just the wrong timing and the oddest thing can change everything! I just don't think I could do it again. We will miss our baby girl!

It's kinda funny, Before I had a kid I would go shopping at the gateway and see parents letting they're kids run through the fountain and I would wonder what kind of parent would let they're kid do such a thing! BUT now that I'm a mommy I can totally understand! Cade and I were shopping and he kept saying mommy I want to play in the water! I was like oh boy!!! How could I not let cade do something that looked like so much fun, especially when all the other kids are having such a good time! So while cade was running through the fountain my hubby called and asked me what we were doing?! When I told him he couldn't stop laughing!
